As we celebrate Easter after celebrating the season of Lent together, we would like to thank all parents and children who participated St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish’s weekly Children’s Lenten Retreat videos, where we learned different ways to be disciples of Jesus. Thank you for collecting the corresponding stickers each week and completing the drawings in your booklet – all extra stickers will be out next Sunday for you to collect any you may have missed. This week, we finish our retreat by looking at a disciple of Jesus by the Tabernacle, remembering that even after Lent and Easter are over, our mission to be Disciples of Jesus still remains. The challenge is to draw a picture of yourself in church, and draw Jesus here with you, remembering that Jesus will always strengthen you in your heart and at church through the Eucharist … God will always give you the strength to love others like Jesus, because that’s what being a Disciple is all about 🙂 Have a blessed Easter season!
