Marriage Workshops
Every marriage experiences difficulties, challenges and conflicts.
How is it that some marriages are able to survive and achieve happy old age, while others fall apart?
There is no such marriage unity or family bond that cannot be deepened.
Marriage workshops are for all—those who want to strengthen or repair their marriages. The workshops are carried out twice a year, in the spring and autumn.
All married couples are welcome regardless of whether you have been married for a short or a long time.
Retrouvaille of Toronto – A lifeline for troubled marriages
A program to Help Couples Heal and Renew their Marriages.
Do you feel lost, alone or bored in your marriage?
Are you frustrated, hurt or angry with your spouse?
Are you constantly fighting? Or, do you simply shut down?
Have you thought about separation or divorce?
Does talking about it only make it worse?
Then Retrouvaille may just be the answer for you!
On a Retrouvaille weekend you are not asked any questions about you or your marriage. There is no counseling, finger pointing or advice given. We encourage you to come on a Retrouvaille weekend and listen to three married couples and a priest share their life stories and how Retrouvaille gave them the tools to communicate in a respectful and effective manner. If you have tried everything else to save your marriage and you feel helpless, Retrouvaille is worth experiencing. It is possible for you and your spouse to rediscover the love you once had for each other.
If you are thinking of separation or divorce or you are already separated, but want to try again then we believe Toronto Retrouvaille can help. If you and your spouse want your marriage to work and are willing to put in a full weekend of hard work and your best effort – then we invite you, even urge you, to attend a Retrouvaille Weekend. Do you know of a couple who might need help? Please tell them about Retrouvaille and encourage them to contact us. They are probably desperately looking for help and don’t know where to turn to find it. Although Retrouvaille follows the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church we do extend a warm welcome to couples of other faith expressions.

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous
Sexaholics Anonymous
Sexaholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop lusting and become sexually sober. There are no dues or fees for SA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
What is a Sexaholic and What is Sexual Sobriety?
We can only speak for ourselves. The specialized nature of Sexaholics Anonymous can best be understood in terms of what we call the sexaholic. The sexaholic has taken himself or herself out of the whole context of what is right or wrong. He or she has lost control, no longer has the power of choice, and is not free to stop. Lust has become an addiction. Our situation is like that of the alcoholic who can no longer tolerate alcohol and must stop drinking altogether but is hooked and cannot stop. So it is with the sexaholic, or sex drunk, who can no longer tolerate lust but cannot stop.
Thus, for the sexaholic, any form of sex with one’s self or with partners other than the spouse is progressively addictive and destructive. We also see that lust is the driving force behind our sexual acting out, and true sobriety includes progressive victory over lust. These conclusions were forced upon us in the crucible of our experiences and recovery; we have no other options. But we have found that acceptance of these facts is the key to a happy and joyous freedom we could otherwise never know.
This will and should discourage many inquirers who admit to sexual obsession or compulsion but who simply want to control and enjoy it, much as the alcoholic would like to control and enjoy drinking. Until we had been driven to the point of despair, until we really wanted to stop but could not, we did not give ourselves to this program of recovery. Sexaholics Anonymous is for those who know they have no other option but to stop, and their own enlightened self-interest must tell them this.

Sisters of Life – Pregnancy Help
Our whole lives are spent planning. From the time we can barely talk, people are asking us what we’re going to do with our lives. After so many plans and expectations, an unanticipated pregnancy can seem like your life is over. Especially if it seems like no one but that little voice deep in your heart hopes there is any possibility for making this work. Well, what if that little voice is right? What if this pregnancy isn’t the worst thing possible? What if everything will again be all right, and even better than all right? The Visitation Mission is here to help you unfold the beautiful promise that lies hidden in the unexpected: your greatest self, waiting to emerge.
You have a lot of dreams yet to accomplish. The powerlessness you feel now is not who you know yourself to be. There are so many unanswered questions, so many seeming impossibilities. But the passion that has already given shape to your hopes and ambitions in life is what reveals the strength you are capable of as a woman, even in the most confusing of circumstances.
You can do this, and you are not alone!
The Sisters and Co-workers of the Visitation Mission are eager to listen to you, your hopes and your struggles. We can help find real possibilities during a difficult time. We want to walk with you and see you thrive. Take that first step. Call us. Sisters of Life also help women and men who suffer following the tragedy of abortion
