Finance Committee
In accordance with Canon Law and the recommendations of the apostolic exhortation „Christifideles laici” of John Paul II, lay Catholics serve the parish with their experience and professional knowledge in matters of finance, administration and asset management. The purpose of the Parish Finance Committee is to assist the Pastor in the administration of parish temporal matters. The Pastor is obliged to seek advice and consultation from the Finance Committee in matters such as hiring permanent and temporary staff, building, renovation or demolition of properties, material change to dedicated use of property, and parish finances. The Parish Finance Committee functions in accordance with norms issued by the Archdiocese of Toronto.
